Good is where most photographers get stuck
You're good. Your clients are happy. Your galleries look fine.
And still something is missing.
You look at the work of photographers you admire and you can't quite put your finger on it. Is it the light? The posing? The edit? So you tweak. You buy another preset. You watch another tutorial. And your work stays exactly where it was.
Maybe this is just my level.
It isn't. You're not lacking talent. You're simply too close to your own work to see it clearly. Every photographer has a blind spot, and the longer you've been shooting, the more invisible it becomes.
Your blind spot doesn't stay in your gallery
It shows up in your prices. When you're not completely sure your work is good enough, you don't dare to raise your rates. You add extra files to feel worth it. You say yes to sessions that drain you. You work more hours than you planned, for less than you deserve.
Most photographers try to solve this on their own. More courses, more gear, more hours. But you can't fix what you can't see.
What you need is one honest, trained eye on your work and your business. Someone who tells you exactly what to change, and what to leave alone.
Two hours. A completely different view.
In one session, the things you've been circling for months finally get a name.
You'll know exactly which changes lift your work from good to stunning. Often they're smaller than you think: the direction of the light, a wrap that's just a little too busy, a skin tone that slowly drifted warm.
You'll see where your business is leaking time and money. Your offer, your pricing, the way clients book, the revenue streams you haven't used yet.
And you'll walk away with what my students tell me matters most: the quiet confidence that your work is ready for a higher price.
Is this for you?
This is for you
You're a newborn photographer who takes her craft seriously. Maybe you've been shooting for years and you can feel the ceiling. Maybe you're newer and you'd rather skip years of trial and error. Either way, you want honest feedback, not compliments. You're ready to hear what could be better, and you're ready to act on it.
This is not for you
If you're looking for someone to tell you everything is already perfect. Or if you'd like a quick chat without doing the preparation. The homework is where the depth comes from.

Hi, I'm Brenda
I've been a full time newborn photographer since 2013. A year later I founded Ollieschool, one of the first professional newborn photography trainings in the world. Since then I've trained more than 1,500 photographers.
Before I picked up a camera professionally, I studied sociology and worked for years in youth care and as a teacher. Coaching people has always been part of who I am.
What I've learned in all those years: I can often see within minutes what someone has been struggling with for months. Not because I'm smarter. Because I'm not standing in the middle of it.
I also know the business side from the inside. I built a company with multiple revenue streams, from shoots and education to Studio Management, a platform used by hundreds of photographers, while raising my two children. So when we talk about your business, I'm not talking theory. I'm talking about what I've done myself.

What photographers say
Exactly what I needed
Years ago I took a 1:1 workshop on newborn photography with Brenda. She told me exactly what could improve in my work, in light and styling, and showed me how she works herself. I already had some experience by then, but looking at my photos together showed me how much road I still had ahead of me. Of all the workshops I had followed, this was the one that helped me the most in the years after.
And now I have just finished a mentoring session with Brenda, and again it was exactly what I needed. I could be completely myself, she corrected me where she thought it was needed, and she gave back the confidence I had briefly lost. It was the perfect follow up to the earlier workshop, and I am sure it will give my business a huge boost. Thank you Brenda, for your openness, your expertise and your warm, personal approach.
Every session counts
Every shoot you do with the same blind spot is a shoot that could have been better, and could have been priced higher. The sooner you see it, the sooner every gallery, every client and every invoice starts to change.
Your investment
€997 excl. VAT
One session. Two hours of my full attention, prepared in advance, with a replay and an action plan you can return to for months. If it helps you raise your prices by just €100 per client, it has paid for itself after ten clients.
Questions
I'm already an experienced photographer. Is this still for me?
Especially. Experienced photographers are the ones most likely to hit a ceiling, because there's no one left who looks at their work with fresh eyes. The more you already know, the more precise my feedback can be.
I'm still fairly new. Is that a problem?
Not at all. You'll avoid years of trial and error and build good habits from the start, both in your work and in your business.
Where does the session take place?
Online, via video call, so you can join from anywhere.
What do I need to prepare?
After booking you'll receive a homework assignment. You'll share a selection of your images and answer questions about your business. That preparation lets us go straight into depth.
Can I ask about editing?
Yes. Bring your editing questions and we'll look at them together.
Do I get a recording?
Yes. You'll receive the full replay, together with your written action plan.
How do I schedule the session?
After payment you'll receive your homework and we'll plan a date that works for both of us.
You can't see your own blind spot. That's not a flaw. That's being human.
Let me be your fresh eyes.
